Welcome to the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri (Municipal Court)
The Kansas City, Mo., Municipal Court is located in the heart of downtown Kansas City. This three-story building is on the southeast corner of 11th and Locust between City Hall and the Kansas City, Mo., Police Department headquarters. Municipal Court is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
Municipal Court is a limited jurisdiction court. The Court processes about 350,000 cases annually involving alleged violations of municipal ordinances. It is the largest municipal court in the state of Missouri. The Court has ten appointed judges and a court administrator.
